An excellent engineer must, of course, have broad technical knowledge. However, soft and foreign language skills as well as a general interest in non-technical issues concerning society and culture are also essential for advanced problem-solving in international environments.
To meet this demand, the MMT module "Interdisciplinary Qualification" with a total of 10 CP gives you access to the complete range of lectures of TU Dortmund University.

Language Courses
Language courses in German or other languages offered by our language center count as credits. MMT usually provides an extra MMT German Course starting at the beginner level A1. If you have already taken German classes, you can sign up for the appropriate regular advanced course at the language center.
- Non-Technical Courses
Not only language but any non-technical courses that you complete successfully with a passing grade can be counted as interdisciplinary qualification. Feel free to browse through the LSF-System of TU Dortmund University for lectures you would be interested in.
